BalletCenter offers a ballet education program designed to take students from their first introduction to the art of dance to the professional stage. The BalletCenter curriculum encompasses the standard blend of French, Russian, Cuban, Danish, and American ballet techniques as practiced in professional companies and schools in the United States and Europe. Classes focus on proper ballet technique, including proper alignment, proper use of feet, arms, head and �epaulement�, turn-out, sense of line and form, musicality and phrasing, discipline and etiquette, proper terminology, artistry, energy, appropriateness for the age and level, and last but not least, joy of dance.

Founded by Rafael Delgado, BalletCenter was established in 2003 in Milwaukee, WI, as an independent offspring of the Ballet Performance Workshop, which offered performances and summer and winter intensives in Milwaukee, WI

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Rafael Delgado received his early dance training from his mother, Wilda Beauchamp. He then studied on scholarships at the School of Ballets de San Juan (Puerto Rico), the School of American Ballet in New York City, and Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico. Since then, Mr. Delgado has enjoyed an eclectic dance career that has taken his performing, teaching, and choreographic talents around the globe for over twenty five years.

The BalletCenter Conservatory is located at S83W18430 Saturn Drive, Muskego, WI. Located in the south eastern corner of Waukesha County (just south of New Berlin and just west of Hales Corners), Muskego is an easy drive from Milwaukee, Waukesha and Racine County!
